OPENINGS FOR FOREIGN LANGUAGE – VISITING FACULTY

Applications are invited for visiting faculty for teaching following foreign languages : French, Spanish and German

Key Responsibilities:

1. Language Instruction: The primary responsibility of a Visiting Foreign Language Teacher is to deliver effective language instruction to students. This includes designing and implementing lesson plans, preparing teaching materials on LMS, and delivering engaging and interactive language lessons. The teacher should utilize various teaching methodologies to accommodate diverse learning styles and promote student participation.
2. Curriculum Development: The Visiting Foreign Language Teacher may be involved in curriculum development and enhancement. They collaborate with other language faculty and instructional leaders to assess and improve existing curriculum materials, aligning them with established language proficiency standards. The teacher may contribute their expertise to develop new curriculum components, such as cultural modules or specialized language courses.
3. Assessment and Evaluation: The Visiting Foreign Language Teacher is responsible for assessing student progress and evaluating their language proficiency. This includes designing and administering tests, assignments, and oral assessments, as well as providing constructive feedback to students.
4. Collaboration and Professional Development: The Visiting Foreign Language Teacher actively participates in professional development activities, both within the educational institution and in external language teaching communities.
5. Student Support and Guidance: The Visiting Foreign Language Teacher provides guidance and support to students, fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment. They offer academic advising, mentoring, and assistance to students who need additional support or guidance. The teacher promotes a respectful and inclusive classroom environment, where all students feel valued and encouraged to participate.

Qualifications:

• A Master’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., foreign language education, linguistics, or a related discipline).
• Native or near-native proficiency in the target language.
• Teaching experience, preferably in a formal educational setting.
• Strong knowledge of language teaching methodologies, curriculum development, and assessment practices.
• Flexibility, adaptability, and a willingness to work collaboratively with colleagues.
• Ability to create an engaging and inclusive learning environment.

Remuneration as per industry standards.
