Job Description
Planning and implementation of IB PYP curriculum for Early years.
The PYP coordinator should be able ensure, execute, and supervise the continuity of the programme through developing systems and documentation. This includes mapping the transdisciplinary program of inquiry, unit planners, daily planners, policy documents, guidelines for verification and evaluation, and continuum initiatives.
Delivering instructional activities in sync with the IB PYP Framework to all teaching staff.
Regular written and verbal communication with the teachers at the same time evaluation and assessment of teachers to be done on a regular basis.
Train the trainer, by conducting and organizing various workshop so that teachers evolve and embrace the new methods of teaching and learning technologies.
Review and refinement of academic syllabus and lesson plans.
Coordinating and conducting of various educational trips, Annual day, Sports Day, Special Assemblies and other extra-curricular activities for students.
Conduct orientation and PTM for parents and students.
Documentation of the observation and assessment of students.
Should be able to draft circulars, newsletter, and written communication to parents.
Supervise the safety, health, hygiene, and security of each child along with the other teaching and non-teaching staff.
Demonstrate inclusive and collaborative environment for all teachers, non-teaching staff, students, and parents.

Required Competencies & Skill Set
Excellent written and communication skill
Thorough knowledge of IB PYP Curriculum Framework
Proficient with MS Teams, Outlook, MS Office, Tech Savvy
Team Player and should be able to give constructive feedback

Educational Qualification

Masters / Bachelors / Degree / Diploma in Early Childhood Education (NTT, Montessori, ECE, CIDTL trained) is preferred. Relevant IB Training Certificate.

Experience

Minimum 2 -5 years of IB PYP coordinator experience required.

Job Type – Full time.
