Job Description
Responsibilities and Duties:

• Facilitate and make children learn in a learner driven environment
• Curriculum development, planning and execution as per the 21st century educational needs.
• Periodical review of the instructional plans with the Academic Coordinator and make necessary changes
• Develop the Reading, Writing and Arithmetic Skills along with the 4 C’s (Communication, Collaboration, Creativity, Critical Thinking & Problem Solving) of children.
• Provide clear structures for lessons maintaining pace, motivation and challenge.
• Promote experiential and joyful learning
• Create Preliminary Checklist for Planning, Teaching and Class Management.
• Plan lesson, teach and assess the students as per theirindividual needs – Differentiated planning, learning and assessment.
• Select appropriate learning resources through multiple quality references
• Using innovative pedagogies and right use of technology in learning
• To collaborate and work as a team.
• To ensure smooth conduction of day-to-day routines and operations of class
• Should be able to avail opportunities with learners to provide value based learning as per the educational philosophy of the institution.
• Play the role of facilitator, observer and guide rather than an “Instructor”.
• Make use of effective questioning; listen carefully to students, attention to details and avoid misconceptions.
• Assess and record the progress of the students systematically and keep the students’ records in order.
• Document students’ learning with evidences; Prepare and present informative reports to parents.
• Focusing on the discipline and behavior of the students
• Evaluating own teaching critically to improve effectiveness; Ensuring the effective and efficient deployment of class support.
• To participate, plan and attend field visits, training programmes held outside campus and any other activities.
• To undertake any additional tasks / responsibilities as directed by the Academic Coordinator/Executive Director
• Occasional flexibility to work in other roles/ extended hours as required for the development and expansion of the School as suggested by the Academic Coordinator/ Executive Director
• Identifying SEN (students with special educational needs) or differently able students.
• Maintaining discipline in accordance with the School’s procedures and encouraging good practice with regard to punctuality and behavior standards of work and homework.
• Learning integrated ERP handling and operations
• Understanding and Learning to operate Apple education programme

Job Specification / Skillset needed

• Child Friendliness
• A post graduate with major in English, Science or Mathematics Preferred. Qualified in teacher education will be a definite advantage.
• Excellent Communication and Presentation Skills
• Passionate to be with children and actively engage in the teaching learning process in a learner driven environment
• Excellent Content Knowledge and Delivery Skills.
• Adept in technology based education
• Quick learner and a team player.
