Develop SIS as Centre of Excellence in to a model of best practice and training to be replicated
JOB DESCRIPTION
2.1 Plan, monitor, supervise and review overall progress of all aspects of SIS programmes of APD in conjunction with Assistant Director – Education.
2.2 To constantly evolve and implement appropriate methods of teaching to bring in quality education at SIS.
2.3 Ensure effective and proper human and material resources, coach and train staff as required liaises with other professional for the same.
2.4 Participate in the selection of new staff in the school, and orient new personnel to the school
2.5 Observe, counsel, and motivate staff towards attaining educational goals of SIS and the organization.
2.6 Continual evaluation of existing programs and practices, curriculum content and experimental programs.
2.7 Maintaining a standard of student behavior designed to command respect and minimize school and classroom interruptions.
2.8 Identifying intellectual, physical, social and emotional needs affecting students’ success in school, and taking steps to direct and coordinate the efforts of teachers and parents with staff services and special education personnel.
2.9 Ensure health, and rehabilitative (Physio and communication therapy) inputs to all needy children.
2.10 To give utmost importance to enhance quality of care and support to children with disability and ensure confidentiality through sensitivity in dealing individual children with disability.
2.11 Recommend changes which will lead to improved administration, supervision and opportunity for student development.
2.12 Ensure the required support will get Training & Resource Development Team to effectively deliver their training plans and develop appropriate resource materials related to Education.
2.13 Interact with volunteers & participate actively in the fund raising programmes of SIS / APD.
2.14 To prepare proposal / application for grants, donations of various activities of your programme in coordination with Donor Assurance and Marketing department under the guidance of Assistant Director – Education and meet all required operational procedures.
2.15 Having all school records available and up to date for ready reference and reporting.
2.16 Network and coordinate with other departments of APD for better rehabilitation and overall growth of children and effective administration and smooth running of school.
2.17 Attend professional conferences, seminars, and workshops in education and network /partner with other Ngo/institutions to keep abreast with upcoming strategies and better inclusion. Separate the two points 1) attending conferences and network and partnering
2.18 To ensure the completion of all agreed programmes timely and submission of
monthly, quarterly and yearly progress reports and fore-cost requirements to Assistant
Director- Education.
2.19 Take up any other task that is assigned by the management
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: ₹50,000.00 – ₹75,000.00 per month
