Job Description – TGT Mathematics (Trained Graduate Teacher)

About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate TGT Mathematics Teacher to join our academic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging mathematics lessons, fostering analytical thinking, and helping students develop a strong foundation in mathematical concepts.

Key Responsibilities

• Teach Mathematics to students as per the prescribed curriculum.
• Prepare lesson plans, worksheets, assignments, and assessment materials.
• Create an interactive and student-centered learning environment.
• Monitor and evaluate students’ academic progress regularly.
• Identify learning gaps and provide remedial support where required.
• Maintain accurate records of attendance, assessments, and student performance.
• Encourage critical thinking, problem-solving, and logical reasoning skills.
• Integrate modern teaching methodologies and educational technology into classroom instruction.
• Conduct periodic tests, examinations, and assessments.
• Participate in parent-teacher meetings and communicate student progress effectively.
• Support co-curricular and school activities as assigned by the management.
• Maintain classroom discipline and ensure a positive learning atmosphere.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics or a related subject.
• B.Ed. (Bachelor of Education) is mandatory.
• Strong subject knowledge and teaching skills.
• Excellent communication and classroom management abilities.
• Proficiency in using digital teaching tools and educational software.
• Ability to motivate and engage students effectively.
• Prior teaching experience will be preferred; enthusiastic freshers may also apply.
