Job Description
Job Summary: Technovalley is seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable faculty member to teach courses in Generative AI. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in artificial intelligence, with specific expertise in generative models, and a passion for teaching. The candidate should be able to inspire students to achieve academic and professional success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver high-quality curriculum and course materials for undergraduate and graduate courses in Generative AI.
- Teach a range of courses, including but not limited to, Introduction to AI, Generative Adversarial Networks (GANs), Deep Learning, Natural Language Processing, and Advanced Topics in Generative AI.
- Stay current with industry trends and advancements in Generative AI and incorporate this knowledge into the curriculum.
- Mentor and advise students on academic and career matters, providing guidance and support for their professional development.
- Conduct research and contribute to the field through publications, presentations, and other scholarly activities.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the departments academic programs and initiatives.
- Participate in departmental and institutional service activities, including committee work and student recruitment efforts.
- Maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment that supports diversity and encourages student engagement.
Required Qualifications:
- A Master’s or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, or a closely related field with a focus on Generative AI.
- Proven teaching experience in higher education, with a track record of effective instruction in AI-related courses.
- Extensive knowledge of Generative AI technologies, including GANs, variational autoencoders (VAEs), and other deep learning models.
- Strong programming skills and experience with AI frameworks and libraries (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, Keras).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts to students with varying levels of technical expertise.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with applied AI projects and industry collaborations.
- A demonstrated record of research and publication in Generative AI or related areas.
- Experience with online and hybrid teaching modalities.
- Engagement with professional organizations and networks in the field of AI.
