Role overview
Teachmint is looking for a Senior Backend Engineer to help us scale. We are looking for a game changer who can take our application’s structure to the next level!
Key Responsibilities
● Development of our application’s backend
● End to end delivery of new features
● Improving the application’s performance and scalability
● Design, develop and own service components of a highly scalable, distributed web services platform
● Constantly improve software development process and team productivity
● Work with junior developers in the team to ensure quality and in time delivery
Preferred requirements
● 2+ years of experience in backend development and system design
● Proficient in Python and Flask/Django
● Experience with Nosql databases like MongoDB
● Experience with Stream/asynchronous processing software like Kafka
● Algorithms and software design optimized for large scale distributed software systems
● Have experience with Cloud platforms, preferably GCP
● Knowledge of Other languages like Go/Nodejs is a plus
