Weare seeking a skilled and passionate SEN Educator/Special Educatorto join our client’s team. As an SEN Educator/SpecialEducator, you will be responsible for providingspecialized support and instruction to students with specialeducational needs. This is a full-timeposition based in Atal Nagar (Naya Raipur),Chhattisgarh, India.The ideal candidate should have 4 to 6years of experience in special education. Candidates must becurrently residing in Raipur and shall be able to joinimmediately.
QualificationsandSkills
  • Bachelor’sor Master’s degree in Special Education or a relatedfield.
  • Validteachingcertification or license in SpecialEducation.
  • RCIcertification will bepreferred.
  • Proven experienceworking with students with special educationalneeds.
  • Knowledge of different learning needsand disabilities, as well as evidence-based instructionalstrategies andinterventions.
  • Strongcommunication and collaboration skillsto work effectively with students, parents, andcolleagues.
  • Ability to adapt teaching methodsand materials to meet the diverse needs ofstudents.
  • Excellent organizational skills andattention to detail for documentation andrecord-keeping.
  • Passion for empowering studentswith special needs to reach their fullpotential.
RolesandResponsibilities
  • Assessstudents with special educational needs to determine theirstrengths, weaknesses, and learninggoals.
  • Develop and implement personalizededucation plans for students with special needs, includingindividualized instruction andaccommodations.
  • Provide direct instruction inacademic and functional areas, such as reading, writing, math, andlife skills.
  • Collaborate with classroomteachers and other professionals to support the inclusion ofstudents with special needs in mainstreamclassrooms.
  • Monitor and track student progress,adjusting instruction and accommodations asneeded.
  • Communicate regularly with parents andguardians to provide updates on student progress and discussstrategies for support at home.
  • Attend andparticipate in relevant professional development sessions to stayupdated on best practices and new research in specialeducation.
  • Maintain accurate documentation ofstudent progress, assessments, andinterventions.
