JobSummary:
The IBPYP Hindi Teacher is responsible for deliveringhigh-quality education in accordance with theInternational Baccalaureate Primary YearsProgramme, with a specific focus on theHindi language and its integration into thecurriculum. This role includes creating astimulating learning environment, fosteringinternational-mindedness, and supporting the development ofstudents’ linguistic and culturalawareness.
KeyResponsibilities:
- CurriculumPlanning andDelivery:
- Developand implement a comprehensive, inquiry-based curriculum in linewith the IB PYP framework, incorporating Hindi language andculture.
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons thatpromote critical thinking, communication skills, and interculturalunderstanding.
- AssessmentandReporting:
- Designand administer assessments to evaluate students’ progress in Hindilanguage and cultural knowledge.
- Provide timelyand constructive feedback to students and parents on academicperformance.
- International-Mindedness:
- Fosteran international-minded perspective among students, encouragingrespect for diverse cultures and globalawareness.
- Integrate global and local issuesinto the curriculum, whererelevant.
- ClassroomManagement:
- Maintaina safe, inclusive, and well-organized learningenvironment.
- Manage classroom behavior andstudent interactionseffectively.
- ProfessionalDevelopment:
- Stayupdated on IB PYP principles and practices, including attendingrelevant workshops and training.
- Continuouslydevelop and refine teaching strategies to enhance student learningoutcomes.
- Collaboration:
- Collaboratewith other PYP teachers and staff to ensure a coherent andtransdisciplinary approach toeducation.
- Communicate with parents andguardians regarding student progress and engage in parent-teacherconferences.
- CulturalEnrichment:
- Organizecultural events, activities, or field trips to enhance students’understanding of Hindi language andculture.
- ResourceManagement:
- Effectivelyuse teaching materials and resources, including textbooks,technology, and other educationaltools.
Qualifications:
- ABachelor’s degree in Hindi is amust
- Teachingcertification and/or licensure as required by localregulations.
- Familiarity withthe International Baccalaureate Primary YearsProgramme and itsprinciples.
- Proficiency in Hindi language,including reading, writing, andspeaking.
- Strong intercultural andcommunication skills.
- Classroom management andinstructional planning expertise.
- Commitment toongoing professionaldevelopment.
