The Aalam, a Freedom School, is seeking full-time teachers for our Primary ( for 3 – 6 year olds) and Elementary (Grades 1 – 6) environments. The right candidate is loving, mature, and excited to support children in our Montessori environment.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Prepare the classroom environment
• Assist and aid the primary adult in material presentations / environment management
• Help maintain the order / aesthetics of the physical environment
• Be a role model for children in speech, tone, demeanor, and actions
• Recording keeping of the work children are engaged in and children’s social interactions
• Serve the needs of the children and community

Experience in a Montessori Environment / Prior Certification in Primary / Elementary Montessori will be will be considered an asset, though not mandatory. A minimum of two years commitment is non-negotiable.
