Job location- Pune

Education- BE/ Btech in Mechanical Engineering

Experience- 2 to 8 years

Job Description:

-Good understanding of mechanism parts related to automotive domain

-Should be good at working on mechanism concept design using Catia V5

-Good understanding of kinematics and basic design calculations for example leverages, etc.

-Working knowledge in DFMEA/DFM/testing etc.

-Detailed understanding of DMU check, 2D drawing preparation and PLM release activities

-Experience in giving styling feedback for different CAS levels

-Basic understanding of regulatory requirements especially pertaining to mechanism parts

-Experience in working with suppliers

Key Skills:

-Latch- hood latch/ door latch

-Tailgate/ gas balancer

-Window Regulator/ Window Winding Mechanism

-Handle

-Door Check/ Check Strap

Primarily Skill: Knowledge of Automotive mechanisms, Catia V5 – Surface & Part modeling, Kinematics, Drawing & 3D annotation, Data management in PLM – TCE, Manufacturing Knowledge

Secondary Skill: Knowledge of Regulatory standards
