We are hiring for “Head of Sales – Education Loan” role with a Growing start-up
Role: Head of Sales – Education Loan (Higher Education)
Location: Mumbai / Bangalore
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute sales strategies to drive revenue growth for education loan (Higher Education Loan) products.
- Build and manage a high-performing sales team, providing leadership, guidance, and motivation.
- Collaborate with the marketing department to develop effective lead generation and customer acquisition strategies.
- Identify target markets and customer segments for education loan products, and create tailored sales and marketing approaches for each segment.
- Set sales targets and KPIs for the team, monitor performance, and provide regular updates and reports to the management team.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders, including product development and operations teams, to ensure efficient delivery of education loan products and services.
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify market trends, competitive landscape, and opportunities for business growth.
- Cultivate and maintain relationships with key clients, educational institutions, and industry partners to generate business referrals and partnerships.
- Stay updated with industry trends and developments, and provide insights and recommendations to senior management for strategic decision-making.
- Manage the sales budget, allocate resources effectively, and optimize cost-efficiency.
- Foster a positive and collaborative work culture within the sales team, ensuring effective communication and teamwork.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor or master degree.
- Proven experience in sales management, preferably in the banking or financial services industry.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a sales team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and industry partners.
- Sound business acumen, with a deep understanding of sales strategies, market dynamics, and customer behavior.
- Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and use insights for strategic decision-making.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
- MBA or advanced degree in a relevant field is a plus.
- Experience in the education loan industry is highly desirable.
