Role:Manager – Communications
Location: Ghatkopar, Mumbai, India
Compensation: Commensurable with experience
ROLE OVERVIEW
The successful candidate will have the capacity to thrive in a fast-paced environment, while managing a wide variety of communications, content, writing and PR oversight. The ideal candidate will possess an excellent command of English language (exceedingly strong in written communication, including grammar), exceptional project management, content creation and review, coordination and management of complex committees, and the ability to handle dynamic tasks in a time-sensitive environment. The candidate will have superior time-management skills, the ability to create and manage content, exhibit a professional attitude and complete tasks within a deadline. Superb written communication and refined writing ability, social media and email marketing experience, PR and/or marketing (NOT sales) experience and management, and general management/administrative oversight skills are essential.
JOB PURPOSE
Writing, communications, content, and PR for all the companys events and programs, project management within the communications and design teams, coordination between committees and teams (both external and internal).
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES
·Create, prepare, and manage written content for a variety of projects surrounding the development, preparation, and execution of The companys events and programs, with superb writing skills and deep attention to detail.
·Project management across the communications and design team functions. Coordination with external and internal teams and committees (high-level).
·Content writing for mission-based communication across social media and email marketing, conference/event communication and marketing, PR, and other communication.
·Understanding of the firms mission and platforms.
·Cross-training in other aspects of the compnays events, initiatives and programs
QUALIFICATIONS
EDUCATION: Bachelors degree or equivalent.
WORK EXPERIENCE:
Three to six years’ prior experience in communications management.
SKILLS:
The candidate should excel in communications, content management, project management, organization and use of some specialized computer applications, and must possess:
• Extremely detail-oriented approach
• Creative thinking and problem solving
• Ability to plan in advance, multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
• Very high-level (extremely advanced) writing and communication skills
• Self-starter and ability to manage multiple complex projects at once
• Polished and professional demeanor with a great flexibility and out-of-the-box mentality
• Proficient at Microsoft Office programs, the Google Suite, experience preferred in additional database programs such as Cvent
• The ability to work independently and as part of a team
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
IMPACT & INFLUENCE: This position will interact on a consistent basis with higher education leadership, high school counseling professionals/school leaders and teachers, college and university officials, and partner organizations/sponsors.
