The position requires to recruit students specifically from schools’ and university’s agency network, to increase student enrolment from India (For UK University). Job descriptionThe primary role of the Student Recruitment Manager is to actively work with international office of the UK University towards student recruitment activities and increasing the University’s brand presence in India.The current role is based out of T&A Consulting office in Gurgaon, for a UK based University, a member of the Russell Group of 24 leading UK research-intensive universities. The primary focus of this position is:To recruit students from School’s network, pan-India and increase student enrolment for UG.Reach out to relevant K12 school students with the objective of increasing applicant numbers for the various UG Programs of the university.Engage with agents network, participate in agent training, manage student recruitment fairs to increase student enrolment from India.Develop social media marketing strategies & monitor online Education Events. The role involves following Responsibilities

Increase student enrolment from Schools in India onto the University ‘s programs by: – Attending education fairs and exhibitions and representing the university. – Making promotional presentations in schools, colleges and universities to students, staff, and parents – Conducting consultation sessions with prospective students, parents, teachers, and other key decision-makers and influencers – Developing and maintaining the University’s alumni network in India and subsequently channeling the network towards student recruitment activities 2
Manage University’s existing agent network in India and act as their single point of contact. – Establishing strong working relationships with the University’s existing recruitment agencies around India, offering a rapid and efficient response to queries, and providing comprehensive support – Manage and recommending suitable new agents with viable potential to act as representatives of the university Candidate Profile – Excellent Verbal and Written English – Sound knowledge of Indian Education Industry – Experience in schools’ outreach is a must- 2-4 years of experience in the student recruitment industry/ overseas education recruitment agency is must- specifically for UK market. – The position requires an excellent understanding, and ideally experience, of the UK higher education sector, either as a student or professionally, along with a proven ability to engage with prospective students, recruitment agencies, schools, colleges and universities, business and professional organizations in India – Strong network and connections in schools (Pan India) is a must.- The candidate will be required to undertake significant independent travel around India, undertake periodic travel to the University campus for briefing and debriefing – Willingness to travel extensively will be an essential requirement of this position
A flexible approach to working hours will also be required, as will the ability to work towards challenging targets efficiently and autonomously
