Symbiosis Open Education Society (SOES) has established Maharashtra’s First Skill Development University namely Symbiosis Skills and Professional University at Pune & other university namely Symbiosis University of Applied Sciences at Indore, Madhya Pradesh.

SOES is currently looking for candidates for the position of Head University Academic Administration at its Head Office at Model Colony, Shivajinagar, Pune. The candidate shall be senior academician having significant experience of educational administration. Candidates having minimum 6-8 years’ experience as Principal of Engineering college or Director of Management institution shall be preferred. Age – 50 to 58. The candidate shall report directly to Principal Director (SOES).

• Roles and Responsibilities:

• To act as advisor to Principal Director on all policy level academic matters pertaining to University.
• To provide strategic inputs on all academic matters related to the University including but not limited to academic programs, admissions, research, strategic collaboration, faculty manpower planning, sourcing & recruitment, student and teacher development, budget planning & expenditures and other strategic matters.
• To work closely with both the universities to ensure implementation of strategic plans & visions of the Skill University.
• To monitor academic operations of the university and submission of reports to the Principal Director on the same.
• To conduct regular meetings with the university officials in order to ensure timely completion of various activities
• To enhance research credentials of the University through conduct of various research activities at the University
• To enhance NAAC preparedness of the University through active involvement in various activities at the University
