Job Description – Senior Project Manager

What will you Do?

• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including UX Design, Product Management, and Engineering, Quality and Regulatory teams to ensure the timely delivery of products and features.
• Apply business acumen to formulate practical and effective program management approaches to ensure new products are delivered to the market expeditiously to maximize revenue streams. Develop comprehensive product program reports and associated schedules.
• Lead the process to help key stakeholders understand dependencies and trade-offs throughout product development.
• Expertise in operational excellence and process improvement methodologies as a needed skill. Maintain operational and communication cadence to hold partners accountable and ensure successful delivery of programs.
• Enable the Scrum to improve its practices within Scrum Framework.
• Be Accountable for Scrum Team Effectiveness.
• Coach the team members in self-management, self-organization, and cross functionality. Builds successful working relationships with internal and external personnel in various departments. Understands quality system(s).
• Help the Scrum Team to always focus on creating high value increments that eventually meet the Definition of Done.
• Ensure that all scrum event takes place and are positive, productive, and managed within the timebox. Ensure the removal of impediments to the Scrum Team’s progress.
• Facilitate in implementation tools & techniques for effective Product Goal Definition and Product Backlog management. Facilitating stakeholder/cross-functional team collaboration as requested or needed.
• Maintain relevant metrics that help the team see how the team is doing. Organize and coordinate release efforts.
• Work and coordinate with the product owners to align the team with product vision, sprint goals, and product backlog.
• Remove barriers between stakeholders and Scrum Teams collaboration, and from various other aspects.
• Seeks opportunities for improvement to the overall effectiveness of teams and the organization. Coach, Teach, and Guide People in various roles in project and product-driven organizations.
• Drive Results in organizational change and influence people to appreciate the Agile way of working.

What are we looking for?

• Overall experience of 9 to 13 years with minimum 5 years as Project Manager.
• Experience of working in Multiple Geographies, multiple culture, and offshore environments.
• Strong skills in facilitation, continuous improvement, empowerment, and transparency.
• Proven ability to thrive in a fast paced, dynamic environment.
• Proven ability to earn the trust of sponsors and key stakeholders quickly; mobilize and motivate teams; set direction and approach; resolve conflict; deliver tough messages with grace; execute with limited information and ambiguity; adapt to and manage change quickly.
• BS/MS in Computer Science or Engineering or related equivalent work experience
• PMP & Agile Certification (such as Scrum Alliance Scrum Master (CSM) or PSM) preferred.

• Ability to traverse vertically and horizontally in a large organization.
• Excellent balance of people, organizational, and technical skills, and can execute and deliver successfully in situations where authority is not a given.

• Professional team player with strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
• Experience and familiarity with industry-standard project management software products such as Jira, Microsoft Project Plan, Confluence, and Retrospective Boards.
• Must possess excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Experience in medical devices or regulated industry strongly preferred.
• Successful Track Record of commercialization of projects
