Position Summary:
We are seeking a seasoned Training & Development Manager with 10-15 years of experience to lead our training initiatives and drive the development of our employees. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in designing and implementing comprehensive training programs that align with business objectives and enhance employee performance and engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
l Training Program Development:
Design, develop, and implement training programs tailored to meet the needs of various departments and levels within the organization.
Collaborate with department heads and subject matter experts to identify training needs and develop relevant content.
Utilize innovative instructional design techniques and technologies to enhance the effectiveness of training programs.
l Training Delivery:
Facilitate training sessions, workshops, and seminars both in-person and virtually.
Ensure the delivery of engaging and interactive training sessions that promote active learning and knowledge retention.
Monitor and evaluate training delivery to assess effectiveness and make necessary adjustments for continuous improvement.
l Performance Management:
Partner with HR and management teams to develop and implement performance management strategies that support employee growth and development.
Provide coaching and guidance to managers on performance management best practices, including goal setting, feedback, and performance reviews.
l Employee Development:
Identify opportunities for skill development and career advancement for employees at all levels.
Implement career development initiatives such as mentoring programs, job rotations, and succession planning.
Work closely with employees to create individual development plans and provide resources and support to help them achieve their goals.
l Learning Management System (LMS) Administration:
Oversee the administration of the company’s learning management system, including content management, user management, and reporting.
Stay current on trends and best practices in learning technology and recommend enhancements to the LMS as needed.
l Training Evaluation and Reporting:
Develop and implement processes to measure the effectiveness of training programs and initiatives.
Analyze training evaluation data to identify trends, measure impact, and make recommendations for improvement.
Prepare regular reports on training activities, participation, and outcomes for management review.
Qualifications:
Master’s degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Psychology or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.
10-15 years of experience in training and development, with demonstrated success in designing and delivering training programs in a corporate environment.
Strong understanding of adult learning principles, instructional design methodologies, and training delivery techniques.
Experience with learning management systems (LMS) and other training technology platforms.
Excellent communication, presentation, and facilitation skills.
Proven ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
Certifications in the Training field would be preferred
