Job Description
You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and delivering engaging STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) and Robotics programs for students. You will inspire and guide students in exploring the exciting world of robotics, fostering critical thinking, problem-solving skills, and a passion for STEM subjects.
Role and Responsibilities:
– Design and develop STEM and Robotics curriculum aligned with educational standards and objectives.
– Create lesson plans, learning materials, and hands-on activities to engage students in STEM concepts and robotics projects.
– Facilitate interactive and dynamic classroom sessions, ensuring a hands-on and experiential learning environment.
– Provide clear explanations, demonstrations, and guidance to students on STEM and robotics principles.
– Teach programming languages relevant to robotics, such as Python, Scratch, or other industry-standard languages.
– Guide students in building, programming, and troubleshooting robots and robotic systems.
– Coach has to maintain respective school ATL social media account Encourage students to participate in event, competitions Supervise and support students in completing STEM and robotics projects.
– Act as a mentor to students, providing guidance and support in their exploration of STEM fields and robotics.
– Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages curiosity and experimentation.
– Develop assessment tools to evaluate students’ understanding and progress in STEM and robotics.
– Provide constructive feedback to students and adapt teaching strategies as needed.
-Integrate cutting-edge technologies and tools into the curriculum to enhance the learning experience.
– Stay updated on advancements in STEM and robotics education to incorporate relevant content.
– Collaborate with other educators, school staff, and parents to support a holistic educational experience.
– Participate in professional development opportunities and share knowledge with the education community.
Requirement:
– Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (Education, STEM, Robotics, Computer Science, etc.).
– Teaching certification is preferred.
– Proven experience in teaching STEM and robotics to students of varying ages
– Strong knowledge of programming languages and robotics platforms.
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
– Ability to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
– Passion for inspiring students.
