Job description
Responsibilities:
• Provide individual and group counseling sessions to students to address academic, personal, and
social issues.
• Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify students’ needs and develop appropriate
intervention plans.
• Work with teachers, parents, and administrators to create a positive and inclusive school
environment.
• Develop and deliver workshops and training sessions to students, parents, and teachers on
topics related to mental health, social skills, and academic success.
• Maintain accurate and confidential records of student counseling sessions and progress.
• Stay up-to-date with current research and best practices in school counseling and mental health
to inform counseling services.
• Attend and participate in school events and meetings as required.
• Perform other duties as assigned by our team.
Requirements:
• Master’s degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field.
• At least 2-3 of experience working as a school counselor or in a related field.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong knowledge of counseling techniques and theories, and their application in a school
setting.
• Knowledge of child development, mental health issues, and social and cultural factors affecting
students.
• Experience working with diverse student populations.
• Understanding of ethical and legal issues related to school counseling.
• Fluency in English & Hindi is preferred.
