Key Responsibilities: As a Primary Grade 1 Homeroom Teacher at Ruh Continuum School, you will:

Student Assessment:

Conduct ongoing formative and summative assessments to evaluate student progress. Track and analyze student performance data to identify areas for improvement and implement targeted interventions as needed. Provide regular feedback to students and parents on academic and behavioural developments.

Parent and Community Engagement:

Maintain open and effective communication with parents and guardians through regular meetings, newsletters, and conferences. Participate in school events and community activities to foster a sense of belonging and collaboration. Professional Development: Engage in continuous professional development to stay updated on educational trends, teaching methodologies, and curriculum enhancements. Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and contribute to a supportive and innovative teaching community.

Positive Disciplining and Constructive Language Approach:

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).  A degree or certification in Child Psychology is a plus. Valid teaching certification. Previous experience teaching in a primary or elementary school setting. Familiarity with the Cambridge Pathway and IB curriculum is a plus. Strong classroom management and communication skills. Passion for working with young children and helping them reach their full potential.
