JOB DESCRIPTION

Subject – SST

Extramarks is searching for young and dynamic academic resources that are interested to use cutting edge technology and animated content in digital classrooms. The candidates should have aspiration to revolutionize online education for students studying across various curriculums that include, CBSE, ICSE, Cambridge, IB and other national/international curriculums.

Job Description –

• Middle grade to Secondary school level teaching for classes 6-10 (CBSE/ICSE)
• Take live online lectures, make the lectures interactive to keep the student’s interest
• Create new or improve existing study material, homework and worksheets.
• Provide evaluation of tests/homework for students of various levels and guide them.
• Follow the trends of curriculum, syllabus changes and create lesson plans time-to-time.
• Collaborate with animation and product teams for innovating teaching approach

Desired Candidate Profile

Experience and desired skills –

• 2-5 years of relevant teaching experience. Within the age group of 24 – 35 years.
• Fresher’s with excellent academic background and ability to teach are also eligible.
• Excellent command over English with good vocabulary and impeccable spelling/grammar
• Online Teaching experience is preferred.
• Ability to manage multiple batches of classes every day.
• Understanding of design of lesson plans and planning of curriculum
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Powerpoint, Tech-Savvy to take online classes, Basic IT skills
• Ability to handle multiple subjects, grades and/or curriculums.
• Working in the afternoon & evening shifts is required.

Education –

• UG: B. Tech / B.E. in Any Specialization, B. Sc/ BA in Any Specialization with B.Ed (Preferred)
• PG: Post Graduation – Any Postgraduate in Any Specialization (Not mandatory)
