Even today, while working remotely, our culture is strong and our team is connected!Position SummaryAs a hands-on Data Analysis Specialist on the Business Intelligence (BI) team, you will help provide trusted reporting, data, and analytics for CARFAX to demonstrate value across business channels, assess product performance to influence direction, support internal business operations, and external customer facing products. You will play a key role in BI DevSecOps team to ensure data processes meet expected quality standards and SLAs.What You’ll DoPartner with CARFAX departments and establish relationships with internal clients to provide information to help make strong, informed business decisions.Work closely with members of the BI team to develop solutions to business challenges.Be an integral part of process improvement to continuously increase efficiencies.Have opportunities to think creatively and to learn new tools and technologies.Help build and deploy Advanced Analytics and Machine Learning models on our Data Lake Platform.Support data pipeline engineering and automationWhat You Need to Get the Job DoneEducation level: Bachelors in Information technology, Computer Science or equivalent experience.Year of Experience: 4 to 6 YearsSpecific skills4 to 6 years of experience in analytics, business intelligence or comparable data engineering roleExperience with commercial BI suite of tools, such as Cognos, Power BI, Tableau, or equivalentStrong SQL skills are required. Must have the ability to write complex, highly optimized queries across large volumes of dataExperience in Python/Pyspark and related libraries (like Pandas, NumPy, Seaborn, etc.) for building analytics models.A strong business acumen and the ability to work directly with business users to understand requirements and develop effective data solutionsDevelop technical documentation to support data solutionsWilling to learn and work well in a cross-functional team environmentStrong collaboration, communication, and interpersonal skillsPreferred skillsUnderstanding of data warehousing conceptsExperience with Data Lake is highly preferred.Experience in Agile methodology and onsite-offshore project modelUnderstanding of Machine Learning fundamentalsExperience developing and scheduling data pipelines.Personal characteristicsCarfax prefers collaboration over video conference.
