SonyLIV is seeking an Associate Vice President – Product (Subscription B2C), Digital Business. The incumbent will be responsible to lead the subscription management vertical for digital business. The incumbent will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify, understand, and meet the user needs and address pain points

Education: Graduate (Required), Post-Graduate (MBA preferred)

Experience: 10+ years of product management experience, with 8+ years’ experience with consumer Internet or Web-based technology products and services. Prior experience in payments eco-system and OTT is preferred

Location: Bengaluru

Key Responsibilities:

  • Help define the vision, strategy and roadmap for User lifecycle management – conversion, engagement
  • Drive product strategy on customer acquisition including payments and conversions, Subscription management – upgrades/cross-sell, pricing and packaging, Customer Retention including churn management and win-backs
  • Be responsible for creating and delivering on the product roadmap
  • Take initiatives, build products to increase subs base and maximize consumer lifetime value (LTV) for subscribed users
  • Driving the consumer side of the Subscription products for global markets
  • Interface with design, engineering, Business, and growth teams and drive the desired outcome. Identify frictions that are impacting the CLM
  • Constant focus on user feedbacks and actioning insights to drive product improvements
  • Work closely with stakeholders to understand and address usability issues
  • Foster a collaborative relationship between Business, Marketing, Product managers, Engineering, Product owners, UI/UX team and UQA/AT ensuring productive working between the teams
  • Driving improvements with external payment partners like processors, banks, aggregators etc, globally.
  • Understand and champion consumers and strive to deliver the absolute best consumer experience.
  • Grow product adoption and build meaningful experiences which drive exceptional customer and business outcomes
  • Continuously deliver advances in the product by executing against the product roadmap, maintaining a deep understanding of competitive offerings and how they impact consumer choices and preferences, and how they should influence the products
  • Derive insights from data and use the same for product improvements and iterations. Back proposals with A/B tests and more importantly advocate on behalf of the users

  • Strong product sense with an ability to envision technology solutions with market and user needs
  • Prior experience working with Internet technologies, Customer lifecycle management, payments eco-system, OTT experience is a plus
  • Strong understanding of the technical aspect of SEO, on-page optimization techniques and internal linking structures
  • Proven ability to grow organic traffic and identify and operationalize opportunities around organic search
  • Advanced Analytical skills with SAAS tools, prior experience of Adjust/Branch/Apps Flyer/Omniture, Mix Panel, Clever Tap, etc. Ability to understand the consumer funnel and managing products on user engagement
  • Excellent interpersonal and communications skills
  • Experience in implementing A/B tests
