About the Role
Required to teach Employability Skills for a Vocational Education Programme each programme will run for a 6-month period, depending on the specific trade
The Course Plan will be the same for all trades
The profile of students will be Std XII pass or equivalent; they will be in the 18-21 age group
The method of instruction will be in-person, and the teaching venues will be at Vocational Education institutes at various locations in Mumbai eg, Joseph Cardijn Technical School (Parel), St Xaviers Technical Institute (Andheri) and others
The timings will be as per a calendared time-table 2 hours per day at each institute, 6 days a week, for 6 months
All the instruction material and teaching aids have been developed the authors of the course material will be available to guide the trainer-instructor on finer points, wherever required
Engagement Terms
The trainer-instructor will be engaged by the company either on a permanent employment basis or a contractual basis.
Client has developed vocational training programmes, comprising technical and soft skills training, for various vocational trades
We are looking for trainers-instructors (preferably female) aged around 38-52 years, with maturity to manage a class of Std XII pass students (predominantly male) from multiple social and economic backgrounds every class will comprise 30 students
The candidate should have a strong command over English and minimum Graduate level qualification the medium of instruction will be in English
Preference will be given to those candidates who can also converse with students in Hindi and Marathi, when required (although the method of instruction will be in English)
Candidates with work experience in hospitality, retail services, customer care, travel and tourism, advertising and marketing education and training will be preferred
Initially, the candidate will be on a 6-month contract, after which (based on performance), a long-term engagement can be considered .
The initial 6-month contract will at a remuneration of Rs 25,000-30,000 per month per class; the terms for a long-term engagement will be at a higher salary scale.
Expenses for conveyance will be provided in addition to the remuneration indicated above
