Position Overview:

As an Assistant Professor in Computer Science Engineering, you will be responsible for teaching, research, and academic leadership in the field of computer science engineering. You will contribute to the development and delivery of high-quality education, mentor students, conduct research, and participate in various departmental activities. You will work closely with students, faculty members, and industry professionals to promote academic excellence and advance the field of computer science engineering.

Key Responsibilities:

Teaching and Curriculum Development:Prepare and deliver lectures, seminars, and practical sessions on various computer science engineering topics.
Develop course materials, including syllabi, assignments, and assessments, to enhance student learning outcomes.
Incorporate emerging trends and technologies into the curriculum to ensure relevance and currency.

Research and Publication:Conduct research in your area of expertise and publish research papers in reputable journals and conferences.
Seek external research funding and collaborate with other researchers and institutions to advance knowledge in computer science engineering.
Supervise undergraduate and graduate students in their research projects.

Student Mentoring and Advising:Provide academic and career guidance to students, including advising on course selection, research opportunities, and internships.
Assist students in developing their research skills and guiding them in their independent study projects.
Mentor students participating in academic competitions, hackathons, and other extracurricular activities.

Departmental and Institutional Engagement:Contribute to departmental committees and participate in academic meetings and events.
Collaborate with colleagues to develop new programs, courses, and initiatives.
Engage in professional development activities to stay updated with the latest advancements in computer science engineering.

Industry Collaboration:Foster relationships with industry partners to promote internships, cooperative education programs, and research collaborations.
Stay informed about industry needs and trends to align the curriculum with industry demands.
Facilitate guest lectures, workshops, and industry visits to expose students to real-world applications of computer science engineering.

Qualifications:

• A Ph.D. degree in Computer Science Engineering or a closely related field.
• Strong knowledge and expertise in areas such as algorithms, data structures, computer architecture, software engineering, artificial intelligence, computer networks, etc.
• Demonstrated ability to conduct high-quality research and publish in reputable journals and conferences.
• Teaching experience at the undergraduate and/or graduate level is preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
• Ability to work effectively in a team and collaborate with colleagues and industry professionals.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: ₹15,600.00 – ₹50,000.00 per month
