The Document Controller – OPC will be a member of Linxon IN OPC-Chennai Engineering Team and will contribute towards the effective operation of project unit.

What will you do?

• Ensuring proper version control of all project-related documentation in line with company standards.
• Distribution of all project documentation as per the company / project procedures; to suppliers, client, and construction sites.
• Manage the receipt and control of all project documentation as per the company / project procedures, from suppliers & client.
• Prepare & collate H&S Files, including technical manuals (O&M) to relevant project requirements.
• To review, update and communicate progress to date to line manager on project related activities, ensuring key deliverables are completed to relevant standard and to defined deadlines and budget.

Experience And Education Required

• Experienced in controlling documents and records for engineering and construction projects.
• Computer literacy especially skilled in Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat.
• Minimum qualification of associates degree with 4+ years of applicable experience.
• Knowledge of automated documentation control packages such as SOBIS – Project Information Retrieval System (PIRs) would be a big advantage although training will be given.
