About Sitare Foundation: To ensure that the brightest minds in the world get an opportunity to study Computer Science, leaders from Silicon Valley, top American and European institutions, industry leaders, and venture capitalists have come together to build a new University focussed on Computer Science – Sitare University. The first Sitare batch will start this year. This year, Sitare University will admit up to FIFTY students. The students will be selected based upon their JEE performance, as well as an interview.

Who should apply?

We are looking for someone who has the following:

• You can show subject-matter expertise in Java.
• Hold an I.T. related degree – BTech, BCA, MCA, etc. If you hold other engineering degrees, you should show experience either building software or teaching computer science concepts.
• You have experience either teaching for a school, or building software for a software company.
• You are passionate about bringing about change in the lives of children from an underprivileged background.
• You have excellent communication skills and a friendly, approachable personality.
• You are innovative and want to bring about a transformation in traditional teaching methodologies with the use of technology
• Current software engineers who want to teach are also encouraged to apply.
• Years of experience doesn’t matter, as long as you have computer science expertise and can teach, we will be excited to talk to you.
