HEAD OF SCHOOLS – PRIMARY
Job Summary
The Head of School is expected to manage the day-to-day operations and will be responsible for the success of the school. S/he will be entrusted for people development, process and program management and will be providing direction for driving the organisation’s vision, mission, and strategy; including leadership for establishing and implementation of the project based new age learning curriculum, annual goals and objectives of the organisation.
Key Responsibility of the Head of School – Primary
Educational Leadership:
- Implements a high quality, meticulous, cheerful school atmosphere that is harmonious with our school’s mission and vision.
- Sets aspiring goals for students’ achievement and performance and holds staff members accountable for achieving results and learning outcomes.
- Develops, supervises, and does continuous evaluations and improves the school’s instructional model and curriculum in line with NEP & NCF-FS
- Configure high quality teaching and learning practices on active learning strategies, with frequent training of faculty.
- Uses data driven decision making in order to enhance student performance while addressing student learning needs.
- Design, develop and implement tools, including the SOP’s, for effective teaching and learning for the whole school, specially in the areas of: Lesson Planning, Lesson Delivery, and Assessment of learning
- Ensure collaboration and coordination for implementation of gap areas identified in the new age curriculum based on their ongoing observation of delivery in the classrooms by each teacher.
- Internal Academic Audit via Lesson Plan quality and lesson observation
- Ensure subject domain expertise via the lesson observations mechanism
Mission, Policy and Planning:
- Work closely with the top management team to supervise the setting up and day today growth of the school to its full capacity.
- Helps the leadership team in determining the direction towards short- and long-term goals as per the school’s vision.
- Creates and bolster an environment for collaborative, high quality, and safe teaching-learning practices.
- Drafting and managing the school calendar, balancing academic, co-curriculum and school events.
- Effectively involve and contribute in the faculty recruitment process based on the ongoing mentoring programme analysis.
- Draw policies regarding turnaround time(TAT) for homework, assessments and assignment to ensure the benchmarking standard of quality of assessments.
- Ensure preparing and maintaining record according to CBSE and district policies and administrative regulations.
- Ensuring consistent implementation of various progressive pedagogical tools (such as PBL, via inquiry, critical thinking, student agency, student voice & choice, SLC, etc, being taught) via school’s professional development program & the annual performance review process
- Working closely with the leadership team for integration of skills and capacity building for implementation of programs / initiatives at ground.
Job Specification
- Post Graduate with B.Ed/M.Ed and having a minimum of 10-12 years of experience is managing and leading the whole school/wing or a program
- Demonstrate strong instructional leadership and understanding of Teaching and learning
- Proven skills and abilities as a leader who demonstrates resourcefulness, flexibility, managing uncertainty, change & innovation.
- Thorough knowledge about Early Child-hood Care & Education
- Experience of leading, coaching and training the team is mandatory.
- Cultural awareness, integrity and resilience
Academic Outreach:
- Ensure domain speciality and interdisciplinary competencies in team
- Developing and managing comprehensive academic support programs for teachers
- Ensure student mentorship through guidance on academic goals and educational concerns of the learners.
- Drive school initiatives with respect to progressive ICT, Music and activity based curriculum and promote school participation in competitions
- Ensure team participation in all type of cultural and Art activities in and out of school competition

Age Limit:
- Less than 45 years
PREFERENCES:
- Female candidates residing in and around Ghaziabad and Noida (Delhi NCR),
- Candidate with 5 years of leadership experience in setting up and running a primary school, including driving outreach and admissions processes.
