To carry out the professional duties of a teacher, teaching all areas of the primary curriculum ,as circumstances may require and in accordance with the schoolspolicies under the direction of theManagement. 

To take responsibility for teaching a class or smallgroups, adhering to the teacher standards, ensuring each pupilmakes the best possible progress in theirlearning;

To take key responsibility for the well- being andsafety of the students in the class, and for ensuring goodstandards of behavior;

To work closely with teachers and leaders across theschool to co-ordinate and promote children s co-curricularactivities and to organize and deliver events in a timely andorganized way. 

To adhere to all the school s policies andpractices;

To maintain a tidy, well- managed and attractivelearning environment, in which learning resources are clearlydisplayed and available to all;

To take responsibility for your own professionaldevelopment, seeking opportunities to reflect upon and imp0roveyour practice in line with the school s and your ownpriorities;

To contribute to the school s wider effectivenessincluding running at least one extra- curricular club peryear;

Be prepared, when appropriate, to take a leadershiprole within the school. This may include being part of a corecurriculum team.
