We are searching for a well-organized, qualified, and committed candidate to join our excellent faculty as a Middle School (Grade-V-VII) Art Teacher for the Academic Year 2022-2023. We are looking for an experienced Art Teacher to be responsible for teaching Art as part of the school curriculum. The Art Teacher will follow the guidelines as set out by the Education Department which includes the theory and practice of general art techniques. He/ She should create an enjoyable learning environment to inspire young minds and help them grow in appreciation of art.

Skill Requirements:
Proven experience as a teacher with minimum of 2-5 years of teaching experience is preferable.

Planning lessons on art and art history in accordance with students’ learning objectives.

Preparing the classroom by gathering and setting up equipment.

Developing students’ drawing, coloring, and painting techniques.

Providing instruction on the use of stationery such as graphite and charcoal pencils, as well as oil, acrylic, and watercolor paint.

Teaching students about art history.

Assigning and grading projects and examinations.

Meeting requirements for the assessment. Records, evaluates and reports student’s development.

Ensuring that the classroom is clean after each lesson.

Monitoring inventory and sourcing art supplies, as needed.

Attending faculty and parent-teacher meetings.

Building relationships and mentoring students.

Organizing and taking part for school events, outings and activities.

Undertake special assignments, ad-hoc functions, and related duties as and when required.

Bachelor’s degree in fine arts with teaching qualification, or equivalent.

Prior experience as an art teacher.

Demonstrated excellence in a variety of art techniques.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Upgrade with new Trends and Technologies related to their subject.

A passion for learning and sharing your knowledge with others.

Excellent communicator and should posses good interpersonal skills.

Creative and able to create a fun learning environment.

Good classroom management and strong disciplinarian.

Upstanding ethics and integrity.
