ChangeMaker UNXT has an extremely critical role in the organization. As the name suggests, a ChangeMaker is responsible for bringing about change in the youth they work with, in the community.

As a ChangeMaker UNXT, you will be accountable for seeking and enrolling Government colleges to deliver high-quality training to the participants of the UNXT program, viz; the final year students of various Govt colleges of Degree, ITI, Polytechnic, Engineering, Agriculture, and Horticulture, etc. Via this training program, you will be helping and guiding them through the transformation process, inspiring them to take on new opportunities i.e., higher academics and better career choices. The training ensures social empowerment and motivates them to take better decisions in the future.

We are looking for someone who will be highly energized by working with youth from the community and who love a challenging, yet rewarding environment to work in. Someone who is passionate, committed, self-motivated, empathetic and a problem solver will be a great fit for this position.

Specific Job Responsibilities

 Impart high-quality training in alignment with the course structure and content.

 Adhere to and follow all the requirements outlined in the process document.

 Identify Govt. colleges in your vicinity (approximately 30km radius) and liaise with the college authorities to start the UNXT program in their college for 30 working days.

 Orient and convince the students of the importance of attending UNXT program and enroll them in batches.

 Ensure that the student data captured on our student tracking application – Sixer class is complete and accurate.

 Work with the authorities and plan well to ensure that during the 30 working days of 3 hours each, the program is run uninterrupted and completed successfully.

 Ensure that no aspect of the training program is missed out and the students are well trained and transformed at the end of 30 days.

 Identify less competent participants and provide early redressal/counseling so that they successfully complete the program.

 Motivate the students to utilize the self-learning resources provided through the U Leap smartphone app and monitor them on a regular basis.

 Conduct the valediction program in the presence of the college authorities to showcase the skills learned by the students during this program.

 Effectively coordinate placements for the students with the Placement team whenever necessary.

 Work with HO to involve sponsors as and when required.

 Ensure active social media participation by all students.

 Speak and spread the word about Unnati as an organization and its activities to the college authorities and the students.

 Facilitate student referrals to our centers.

 Support center operations as and when requested by the management.

 UNXT training program is conducted outside of college class hours.

Selection Criteria:

Education

 Bachelors or Diploma across any field

Experience

 0-2 years of experience working in the private or development sector

Languages needed

 English, the Local language

Skills

 Fluency in English Communication skills

 Team working skills

 Facilitation and training skills

 Computer skills

 Coordination skills
