The Executive/Senior Executive – Training & Development (Field Training) is responsible for
supporting the Training &Development team in delivering effective and efficient training programs within the Quick Service Restaurant (QSR) industry. This role primarily focuses on providing on-the-job training to employees, monitoring their performance, and ensuring compliance with operational and procedures.
Role & responsibilities
1. On-the-Job Training:
- Conduct on-the-job training sessions for new hires and existing employees.
- Demonstrate and explain operational procedures, best practices, and customer service standards.
- Provide hands-on guidance and support to employees to enhance their skills and knowledge.
2. Performance Monitoring:
- Observe and assess employee performance during training sessions and on-the-job.
- Provide feedback and coaching to employees to improve their performance and adherence
to operational standards. - Identify areas for improvement and develop action plans to address performance gaps.
3. Compliance with Operational Standards:
- Ensure that all employees comply with the QSRs operational standards and procedures.
- Monitor and assess employee adherence to food safety, cleanliness, and hygiene standards.
- Conduct regular audits to identify non-compliance issues and implement corrective actions.
4. Training Material Development:
- Assist in the development of training materials, modules, and resources.
- Collaborate with the Training & Development team to create engaging and interactive training content.
- Update and revise training materials as needed to reflect changes in operational procedures or industry standards.
5. Training Evaluation and Reporting:
- Assist in evaluating the effectiveness of training programs through assessments and
feedback mechanisms. - Collect and analyze data on training outcomes and employee performance.
- Prepare reports on training evaluation results and provide recommendations for improvement.
6. Collaboration and Coordination:
- Collaborate with the Training & Development team to ensure smooth execution of training initiatives.
- Coordinate with store managers and supervisors to schedule and organize training sessions.
- Communicate with employees to ensure their understanding of training schedules and expectations.
Qualification Required
- Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Training & Development, or a related field.
- Previous experience in a training or supervisory role within the QSR industry is preferred.
Preferred candidate profile
- Strong knowledge of operational standards and procedures in the QSR industry.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to provide clear and constructive feedback to employees.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite and other training software.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to travel to various locations as required.
