You will work directly with schools and communities, building strong relationships with educators, students, and stakeholders. Through this fellowship, you will gain valuable leadership and management skills, personal development, and experience in driving systemic change. Your contributions will help create engaging, experiential learning environments that spark creativity and problem-solving skills in children.Roles & ResponsibilitiesCoordination Work closely with the Life Lab team and school staff to ensure smooth program implementation.Collect and manage data such as the number of teachers, students, kits required, delivery dates, etc.Plan and coordinate activities, keeping all stakeholders informed and engaged.Training & Support Assist in conducting teacher training and orientation programs.Provide ongoing support and consultancy to teachers, helping them to conduct effective activity-based learning (ABL) classes.Offer hands-on assistance to teachers as needed, ensuring successful implementation of the program.School Visits Conduct regular visits to assigned schools to monitor and support program activities.Track and report on the progress of teachers and students, ensuring alignment with program goals.Communicate regularly with school principals and teachers to keep them informed of progress and updates.Data Collection & Reporting Collect and manage data related to program implementation, including case studies, testimonials, pictures, and kit usage numbers.Report progress to the Life Lab team at scheduled intervals, ensuring accurate and timely documentation.Organizing Events Plan and coordinate school events such as program launches, closures, and science days.Ensure the presence of key stakeholders and smooth execution of events.Relationship Management Build and maintain strong relationships with school principals, teachers, students, and donors.Innovation and Improvement Stay updated with best practices in education and apply them to improve program processes.Content Development Gather and verify content requirements.Create educational materials for students.SkillsInterpersonal SkillsCommunication Skills Written & VerbalPresentation SkillsNegotiation SkillsConflict ManagementPlanning & organizingMotivating OthersCompetenciesObjectivity (in decision-making, in assessment, during conflicts, etc.)OwnershipAdherenceCoordination and collaborationAttention to DetailResult Oriented/ Performance CentricCustomer FocusedInspiringEye for detailQualification & ExperienceGraduate in any discipline (Science graduates preferred)Fluency in English, Marathi, and Hindi.Must be a resident of Pune.CompensationFellow will receive a monthly payment of INR 15,000 (INR 14,000 if a laptop is provided by Life-Lab) for the duration of the 2-year fellowship.Note: Candidate must have Driving License and own vehicle (2 wheeler).
