Role Description This is a full-time hybrid role for Science and Maths Online Tutors based in Cannanore, with the flexibility to work partially from home. The tutor will conduct live online tutoring sessions for students in mathematics and science, following the curriculum relevant to each learner’s level. Daily responsibilities include planning and delivering engaging lessons, assigning and reviewing practice work, and providing constructive feedback to support academic progress. The tutor will assess student performance, identify learning gaps, and adapt teaching methods and resources accordingly. The role also involves maintaining clear communication with students and, where applicable, parents or guardians, as well as documenting session outcomes and progress reports on the academy’s platform.
Qualifications

• Strong subject-matter expertise in Mathematics and comfort teaching topics such as Algebra and related areas.
• Proven experience in Tutoring or Online Tutoring, preferably with school or college-level learners.
• Excellent Communication skills, including the ability to explain complex concepts clearly and patiently.
• Ability to design structured lesson plans, adapt teaching strategies, and use digital tools for interactive online sessions.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Mathematics, Science, Education, Engineering, or a related field.
• Familiarity with relevant curricula and exam patterns; experience preparing students for tests and assessments is an advantage.
• Reliable internet connection and comfort using online learning platforms, video conferencing tools, and digital whiteboards.
• Strong organizational skills, punctuality, and a learner-centered approach that supports diverse backgrounds and abilities.
