Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Mathematics Teacher to join our team at Shanthi Asiatic School. As a Mathematics Teacher, you will be responsible for teaching mathematical concepts to students, fostering a love for the subject, and helping them develop critical thinking and problem-solving skills. This is a full-time position located in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India with a mid-level experience requirement of 4 to 6 years.

Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mathematics or a related field
• Proven experience as a Mathematics Teacher, preferably in a K-12 school setting
• Strong knowledge of the national/state educational standards for Mathematics
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to inspire and motivate students to achieve their full potential
• Demonstrated proficiency in classroom management and student engagement
• Effective time management and organizational skills
• Proficiency in using technology and educational software for teaching

Roles and Responsibilities

• Teach mathematical concepts to students using creative and engaging methods
• Develop lesson plans, instructional materials, and assessments aligned with the curriculum
• Create a positive and inclusive learning environment where every student feels valued and supported
• Identify individual student needs and adapt teaching strategies to accommodate different learning styles
