Schooglink is a technology-enabled education-focused startup that provides affordable quality education to rural India using its hybrid online-offline smart classroom model. We focus on Classes VIII to XII curriculum in Bihar, UP, MP and Jharkhand, leveraging technology-enabled classrooms and teachers deployed at the grassroots level to significantly improve pass percentages among students in the State(s). Our vernacular App – Pathyacharya, has completed 750,000 downloads within eleven months from launch.

Role Description

This is a full-time remote role for a Go Programmer. As a Go Programmer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining high-performance applications using the Go programming language. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable software solutions to the Smart Classroom platform. You will also work on creating efficient, reusable and testable code, and developing technical specifications based on input from stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Strong proficiency in Go programming language
• Experience with distributed systems, microservices, and cloud-native architecture
• Experience with containerization and container orchestration technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes
• Experience with RESTful APIs, message queuing systems, and databases (SQL and/or NoSQL)
• Comfortable using Git or other version control systems
• Experience with Agile methodology and related development tools
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science or a related field
• Excellent written and oral communication skills, and strong problem-solving skills
