Job description
1. Responsible for teaching (online and offline) English/Hindi to students in the Primary/Middle school. Prepare instructional aids and additional teaching materials and resources consistent with learning objectives and student needs

2. Teach grammar and syntax, vocabulary and word usage and other principles of the English/Hindi language

3. Promote students’ understanding of and appreciation for literature

4. develop students’ verbal skills including reading out loud, discussion and debate and develop students’ writing skills

5. Encourage the development of critical thinking skills

6. Create a safe and flexible classroom environment conducive to optimal student learning

7. Help students to work independently and collaboratively in groups

8. Foster good working relationships with students, teachers, counsellors, administrators and other stakeholders to support the development and well-being of the students

9. Keep parents or guardians informed of students’ academic progress and social and behavioral issues

10. Participate in staff meetings and training sessions

11. Undertake professional development activities to ensure continued professional growth and development of teaching skills

12. Responsible for developing innovative digital content to keep students active, interactive and engaging

13. Responsible for understanding the curriculum learning outcomes, methodology of Lotus Petal and implementing the same for the classes allocated.

14. Responsible for ensuring that all the learning outcomes for English class delivered as desired.

15. Responsible for ensuring that all documentation (online or computerized) related to the teaching process for respective subjects/classes are developed and maintained with the highest standards of quality. This includes lesson plans, parent teacher meetings, student evaluation, students details

16. Responsible for reporting with full transparency the academic progress for the subjects/classes/students to mentor

17. Responsible for ensuring the execution of tasks or micro responsibilities given from time to time

18. Preparing students for different events (inhouse/external)

19. To understand and implement the unique work model and value system of Lotus Petal.
