Business Strategy Role (India Consumer Experience Team)

PURPOSE OF POSITION

The core responsibility of this position is to build Technology /Ecosystems/ utility use cases on Smart Home/ IOT/AI/ for consumer devices.

The position will be responsible for Developing & Managing vast ecosystem of solution providers &industry bodies

Drives business strategy backed by data analytics and market insights.

The position will be responsible for cultivating and maintaining relationships among business partners while also developing strategies to increase revenue for their companies.

JOB RESPONSIBILITY

Dedicated member for Multi device experience projects in India to find disruptive market expansion/ demand creation/ Experience differentiation opportunities for Samsung Products

Manage relationships with internal stakeholders and vendors to build the brand and the business.

Champion and manage new projects to create stronger partnerships.

Build the organizational network by through targeted outreach and strong project planning.

Liaise with partners to solve issues, communicate needs and create synergy.

Analyse and report on big data insights and propose strategic initiatives, forecast for strategic changes and report on key metrics.

Lead and/or participate, review and analyze quantitative and qualitative findings from market research to understand market & consumer trends and formulate market driven consumer insights.

PERFORMANCE STANDARDS (How will duties be measured)

Ability to proactively identify new business opportunities

Ability to successfully lead strategic projects.

Ability to successfully facilitate communication between various internal groups and assist in constructing cohesive mid-term product portfolio/roadmap

Build/improve market sensing process knowledge and methods

Help to build database for relevant resources (research agencies, research reports, academic resources, lead industry experts) and assist with proper management and maintenance of the information

QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE

The candidate should have 7-10 years of relevant industry experience and have one of the following competencies:

Expertise in Strategic Partnership / Smart Home/ Consumer Research/ Ecosystem Enabler / Alliances

Experience in Consumer Electronics is desired but not mandatory.

Must be proactive, resourceful, creative and consumer minded.

Must understand the market driven innovation process, strategic partnership and knowledge in partner alliance.

Must possess Big Data analysis using excel and report creation based on big data insights.

Must understand how to build consumer and business value proposition in systemic way.

Must possess good story telling and presentation capability.

Willing to work in small team within a large corporate setting

Willing to deal with cultural barriers that often come with the position as you will be working with Korea-based extended team.

Minimum Bachelor’s degree from a four-year College or University, advanced degree preferred. Equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered with good track record.
