Job Responsibilities:

Teaching:

• Plan and deliver high-quality English lessons to students (especally in the secondary level) in accordance with the CBSE curriculum.
• Use innovative teaching methods to engage students and facilitate their understanding of the subject matter.
• Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages active participation and learning.
• Evaluate student performance through assessments, quizzes, and examinations.

Curriculum Development:

• Assist in the development and refinement of the English curriculum to meet CBSE standards.
• Stay updated with the latest educational trends and incorporate relevant teaching techniques into the curriculum.
• Adapt teaching materials to cater to the diverse needs of students.

Assessment and Evaluation:

• Maintain accurate records of student progress and grades.
• Provide constructive feedback to students and parents on academic performance.
• Identify and address the learning needs of individual students.

Classroom Management:

• Maintain discipline and order in the classroom.
• Foster a respectful and positive learning environment.
• Ensure the safety and well-being of students.

Professional Development:

• Attend workshops, seminars, and training sessions to enhance teaching skills.
• Collaborate with fellow educators to share best practices and ideas.

Parent-Teacher Communication:

Qualifications and Skills:

• Master’s degree in English and B.Ed. (Bachelor of Education).
• Minimum of 5 years of teaching experience in the secondary level in a CBSE-affiliated school.
• Strong knowledge of the CBSE curriculum and assessment patterns.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
