Job Responsibilities:
Teaching:
- Plan and deliver high-quality English lessons to students (especally in the secondary level) in accordance with the CBSE curriculum.
- Use innovative teaching methods to engage students and facilitate their understanding of the subject matter.
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages active participation and learning.
- Evaluate student performance through assessments, quizzes, and examinations.
Curriculum Development:
- Assist in the development and refinement of the English curriculum to meet CBSE standards.
- Stay updated with the latest educational trends and incorporate relevant teaching techniques into the curriculum.
- Adapt teaching materials to cater to the diverse needs of students.
Assessment and Evaluation:
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and grades.
- Provide constructive feedback to students and parents on academic performance.
- Identify and address the learning needs of individual students.
Classroom Management:
- Maintain discipline and order in the classroom.
- Foster a respectful and positive learning environment.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of students.
Professional Development:
- Attend workshops, seminars, and training sessions to enhance teaching skills.
- Collaborate with fellow educators to share best practices and ideas.
Parent-Teacher Communication:
- Engage in regular communication with parents to update them on their child’s progress.
- Address parental concerns and provide guidance on student development.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Master’s degree in English and B.Ed. (Bachelor of Education).
- Minimum of 5 years of teaching experience in the secondary level in a CBSE-affiliated school.
- Strong knowledge of the CBSE curriculum and assessment patterns.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Passion for teaching and a dedication to student success.
- Classroom management and organizational skills.
- Ability to adapt to diverse learning styles and abilities.
- Tech-savvy with proficiency in educational technology tools.
