Diploma in School Counselling

EXPERIENCE:

At least 2 years of School Level Counselling

KEY ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

– Advises and counsels the students regarding academic, educational and short term social and emotional issues.

– Provides individual counselling and support to students who have social and emotional problems

– Teaches guidance classes and provides guidance counselling to students through planned activities in small group or classroom setting.

– Does internal testing and recommends students to be sent for LD testing.

– Consults, facilitates and maintains communication with parents, teachers regarding academic and mental health issues of specific students.

– Takes training sessions for teachers to understand and detect students who need special support.

KEY SKILLS:
