RV Educational Institutions are inviting applications for RV PU College for the position of Sanskrit Lecturer.

The Sanskrit Faculty responsibilities include teaching a requisite number of classes, providing guidance and supervision to the students, participating in departmental meetings, and providing academic support to other faculty members. You should be able to pace your lessons and publish articles regularly.

Job Responsibilities:

· Planning, preparing and delivering lessons to all students in the class.

· Assigning work, correcting and marking work carried out by his/her students;

· Present lessons in a comprehensive manner and use visual/audio means to facilitate learning

· Provide individualized instruction to each student by promoting interactive learning

· Collaborate with other teachers, parents and stakeholders and participate in regular meetings

· Create and distribute educational content (notes, summaries, assignments etc.)

· Assess and record students’ progress and provide grades and feedback.

· Maintain a tidy and orderly classroom.

· Observe and understand student’s behavior and psyche and report suspicions of neglect, abuse etc.

· Develop and enrich professional skills and knowledge by attending seminars, conferences etc.

Required skill sets:

· Thorough knowledge of teaching best practices and legal educational guidelines partnered with a willingness to follow the College policies and procedures

· Excellent communicability and interpersonal skills

· Well-organized and committed.

· Strong moral values and discipline.

Job Requirements:

Designation: Sanskrit Lecturer.

Department: Language

Education: Degree/ Master Degree specialized in Sanskrit with a certificate in education .

Current Location: South Bengaluru.

Experience: At least 03-05 years of experience in teaching Sanskrit Subjects.

Preferences will be given to SC/ST/OBC’s based on merit.

Contract length: 12 months
