POSITION DESCRIPTION
The Admissions Officer processes international student applications, undertakes assessment of qualifications and facilitates selection of students for RMIT programs. The position also undertakes recruitment and other tasks related to admissions and ensures the application and selection processes achieve recruitment targets and meet customer service standards. This is a full-time role based in the RMIT Delhi office for an immediate start.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
KEY SELECTION CRITERIA
1. In depth knowledge of, the assessment of international qualifications, and tertiary education systems and knowledge of the Australian higher education sector would be an advantage.
2. Excellent interpersonal skills including: a demonstrated ability to convey information; assess personal needs resolve conflict; and negotiate with a variety of people to achieve objectives.
3. Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and ideally a second language, which can be applied in communication with stakeholders of various levels.
4. Understanding of the needs of people from a wide range of cultural backgrounds.
5. Ability and willingness to work effectively, both in a team and independently. Self-motivated and ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines, ability to work under pressure and the capacity to resolve work issues with limited assistance.
6. Well-developed skills in handling large amounts of detailed information and in working with complex criteria-based systems and procedures; with ability to analyse, report and recommend.
7. Demonstrated experience using Microsoft Word, databases and Excel, with the ability to learn other university administration software systems as required.
8. Understanding of the Australian student visa system would be an advantage.

Salary: ₹50,000.00 – ₹65,000.00 per month
