Full Job Description

To deliver the APAC candidate support strategy to drive the increase in candidates presenting for assessment and qualifying as new members. To act as an ambassador to promote involved member roles within the profession through delivery of engagement strategies for all external assessment stakeholders.

Key Achievements & Responsibilities Key Responsibilities

  • Lead a highly engaged and high performing team
  • Deliver the APAC strategy for candidate engagement across all routes; increasing the numbers presenting for assessment and decreasing the number of dormant candidates.
  • Deliver the APAC strategy for building and maintaining engagement with stakeholders to support and demonstrate value of key involved members
  • Building and maintaining effective relationships both internally and with external stakeholders; L&D managers at firms, Counsellors, Assessors, Mentors & Auditors.
  • To develop a consistent and effective programme of candidate support materials which also promote the RICS commercial product portfolio.
  • Drive the conversion of trainee candidates through to qualification to achieve new qualified member targets.
  • Identify suitable members to fulfil volunteer roles and promote the available training to key demographics, proactively targeting under-represented groups
  • In collaboration with colleagues in Education and Qualifications manage key stakeholder populations, identify any areas of risk or shortfalls in demographics and ensure appropriate mitigations are actioned.
  • Coordination of involved member communications strategies in collaboration with colleagues in Education and Qualifications.
  • Create and deliver networking events with key APAC assessment stakeholders
  • Set up feedback and insight mechanisms to gain insight and identify opportunities to help inform RICS business decisions.
  • Delivery of core strategic business activities against subscriptions collection, CPD, readmissions and retention campaigns.
  • Work in collaboration with internal stakeholders to set, manage, and execute quarterly goals
  • Proactively engage with internal stakeholders to forecast and plan for business demand
  • Manage the budget and forecasting for the APAC Assessment Stakeholder Engagement Team; driving efficiencies and prioritise effectively, using cost/benefit analysis

Experience Required • Delivery on business strategy to support corporate objectives

  • Experience of understanding and building strong relationships with stakeholders
  • Strong project management experience and people management skills.
  • Possesses excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Competent effective public speaker with excellent presentation skills.
  • Able to analyse and challenge the status quo and provide effective alternatives/new practices
  • Able to handle difficult people and situations in a professional, mature manner
  • Proficient in the use of all Microsoft packages.
  • Flexible and adaptable with an ability to influence and persuade others.
  • Flexibility and willingness to work outside of core working hours (if required).
