As the Director,Global Learning team, this position will play a critical role in driving employee growth, enhancing skills, and fostering a culture of continuous learning. Leading the Asia Pacific learning team you will align with and support the broader global learning strategy. Your expertise in learning will bring innovation to the design and delivery of learning initiatives, ensuring they remain relevant and impactful. Collaborating closely with HR and executive business leaders, you will optimize workforce development and drive performance through strategic global projects.
The role reports into the VP Global Learning & Development and will be responsible for managing the learning & development team within the Asia Pacific region.
Key Responsibilities:
strategic & team responsibilities:
- Lead the learning strategy for the Asia Pacific region, understanding regional business needs & priorities and aligning them with the global learning strategy.
- Lead the Asia Pacific learning team, to achieve high performance and excellent delivery & ownership of regional and global programs
- Lead and participate in global L&D or cross functional projects, and contribute to the direction and management of the broader Global HR and learning strategy.
- Partner closely with Regional HR teams and Executive Leadership to optimize business results through leadership effectiveness, management development, and succession planning.
learning program responsibilities:
- Lead and collaborate on the design, delivery, and management of critical global learning programs, such as leadership development, strategic sales programs, and ED&I initiatives.
- Plan and deliver solutions of virtual interactive learning, instructor led learning, microlearning, blended learning, action learning, game-based learning, and self-learning
- Apply learning models, benchmark best practices, study market trends and stay current on cutting-edge approaches to provide learning solutions that deliver long-term impact and promote a supportive and active learning culture
Your experience:
- Previous L&D director or senior manager experience with global exposure
- Proven people management skills leading L&D matrix build teams
- Minimum 7+ year of experience in L&D
- Exceptional communication skills in English both verbal and writing
- Skilled in designing and facilting learning programs delivered in a virtual setting.
- Experience in working and leading projects in complex matrixed environment
