Job Title: Post Graduate Teacher (PGT) – English
Location: R.K. International School
Position Type: Full-time
Job Summary:The Post Graduate Teacher (PGT) – English is responsible for providing high-quality English language education to students in R.K. International School. This role involves developing engaging lesson plans, assessing student performance, and fostering a positive learning environment. The PGT English Teacher will also actively participate in extracurricular activities and contribute to the overall academic development of students.
Key Responsibilities:
1) Curriculum Development and Planning: Develop and implement a comprehensive English curriculum in alignment with national or state educational standards. Create detailed lesson plans that incorporate a variety of teaching methodologies, resources, and technology to enhance student learning.
2) Classroom Instruction: Deliver captivating and effective English language lessons to students of diverse age groups. Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages active participation and critical thinking. Utilize innovative teaching strategies to improve students’ language skills and comprehension.
3) Assessment and Evaluation: Design, administer, and evaluate student assessments to gauge their progress and understanding of English language concepts.
Provide timely and constructive feedback to students to help them improve their language proficiency.
4) Student Support: Identify and address individual learning needs of students through differentiated instruction and additional support as required.
Encourage and mentor students in their academic and personal development.
5) Classroom Management: Establish and maintain classroom discipline and order while creating a respectful and safe learning environment.
Set clear expectations for behavior and academic performance.
6) Professional Development: Stay updated with current trends and developments in English language education.
Participate in professional development activities and workshops to enhance teaching skills.
7) Communication and Collaboration: Maintain open and effective communication with students, parents, and colleagues.
Collaborate with other teachers and staff to coordinate academic and extracurricular activities.
8) Extracurricular Involvement: Actively participate in school clubs, committees, or other extracurricular activities to contribute to the holistic development of students.
9) Records and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of student attendance, grades, and performance.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in English or a related field.
- B.Ed. or teaching certification is preferred.
- Previous teaching experience in a similar role is an advantage.
- Strong command of the English language, both written and spoken.
- Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
- Proficiency in using educational technology and software for teaching purposes.
- Passion for education and a commitment to the academic growth of students.

Salary: ₹12,000.00 – ₹28,000.00 per month
