Quest Alliance is looking for Facilitators to support our work with Government Secondary
Schools in the state of Assam, you will be working closely with the students, teachers
and officials at the district level to enable teacher and system led interventions.

Role Overview
As a Facilitator at Quest Alliance, you will work as part of the Education Program team
which works with students in government schools from grades 5th to 12th – by
encouraging them to continue education, pursue Higher educations, help them to have
career aspirations, life skills, technology skills through our enrichment program.

Role Description
1. Work with government High Schools: You will be attached to 3-4 government
schools spread across within 1 district.
2. Support in the capacity building of teachers through school and district visits and
support.
3. Develop and strengthen thematic resource group of teachers to sustain and
scale the initiatives.
4. Ensure time to time regular sessions with students and carry on other activities
as per State Plan.
5. Community visits and sessions.
6. Build and manage relationships with school teachers, principals and officials at
district level.
7. Encourage students to continue education to avoid drop outs and increase in
attendance in school.
8. Assisting in organizing events both at school and organizational level.

Skills and Experience:

• A Bachelor’s or Master’s in relevant field, (preferences will be given to those who

are from computer or engineering background).

• Fluency in spoken and written Assamese and Hindi (English is preferred).
• Open to travel extensively on all week days for school level support in various

districts.

• Good communication skills.
• Flexible, self-motivated, enthusiastic, and an energetic team player.
• Excited about working with children.
• Basic documentation skills and friendly with MS Office.

Preferred skills and Experience:

• One year of experience in education sector.
• One year of experience in facilitation preferably in government schools.

Location: Barpeta

Contract length: 12 months
