We are seeking a qualified and enthusiastic Science Teacher to join our team and educate students of Class 9 and 10 in accordance with the CBSE board curriculum. As a Science Teacher, you will be responsible for fostering students’ understanding and appreciation of scientific concepts and principles, promoting critical thinking and problem-solving skills, and cultivating a passion for science.

Responsibilities:

1)Develop lesson plans and instructional materials that align with the CBSE board curriculum for Class 9 and 10 Science subjects.

2)Deliver engaging and interactive lessons to facilitate student learning and understanding of scientific concepts, theories, and principles.

3)Use a variety of teaching methods, resources, and technologies to enhance the learning experience and cater to diverse learning styles.

4)Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes active participation, collaboration, and respect among students.

5) Conduct assessments and evaluate student performance to gauge their understanding of Science topics and provide constructive feedback.

6) Identify students’ strengths and areas for improvement, and develop strategies to support their individual learning needs.

7)Organize and supervise laboratory experiments, ensuring safety protocols are followed, and providing guidance to students during practical sessions.

8) Encourage students’ scientific inquiry and critical thinking by facilitating discussions, posing thought-provoking questions, and encouraging independent research.

9) Stay updated with advancements in scientific knowledge, teaching methodologies, and assessment techniques to enhance teaching effectiveness.

10) Collaborate with fellow teachers, department members, and school leadership to develop and implement Science-related projects, workshops, and extracurricular activities.

11) Communicate regularly with parents or guardians to provide feedback on students’ progress, discuss concerns, and encourage parental involvement in supporting students’ learning journey.

12) Participate in professional development activities, such as workshops and conferences, to enhance subject knowledge and pedagogical skills.

13) Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of students’ attendance, assignments, assessments, and grades.

14) Uphold and enforce school policies, rules, and regulations to ensure a safe and disciplined learning environment.

Qualifications and Requirements:

1) Bachelor’s degree in Science (Physics, Chemistry, Biology, or a related field). A Master’s degree is preferred.

2) Valid teaching certification or license in Science Education.

3) Proven experience teaching Science to students of Class 9 and 10, preferably in the CBSE board system.

4) Strong knowledge and understanding of the CBSE board curriculum for Science subjects.

5) Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage students, parents, and colleagues.

6) Passion for science education and a demonstrated ability to inspire and motivate students.

7) Proficiency in integrating technology and multimedia resources into teaching.

8) Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the diverse learning needs of students.

9) Strong classroom management skills and the ability to create an inclusive and positive learning environment.

10) Organizational and time-management skills to effectively plan lessons, manage assessments, and meet deadlines.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: ₹7,000.00 – ₹10,000.00 per month
