Quant Faculty – Test Prep (Contractual) Hiring for Job at Chennai Full Time

Provide aptitude training on the quantitative reasoning section to pre-final/final year UG students preparing for campus placement examinations.

The faculty members are entrusted with the responsibility of fulfilling the mission, vision, values, strategic plan and the educational philosophy of the organisation.

The successful candidates would have the ability to utilise creative and inspiring learning pedagogy and to trigger logical thinking in students minds.

Deliver effective instruction:

• Use personal experience & prescribed pedagogy to drive student learning as required for the specific courses, curated as per the business requirement.
• Integrate real-life situations into learning experiences to encourage critical thinking
• Provide timely & constructive feedback on mock/full-length tests to students to drive continuous improvement in knowledge & scores
• Identify & use appropriate training aids to enhance the student experience and learning outcomes

Academic development:

• Recommend improvements in curriculum, pedagogy, learning aids, teaching assignments, etc., wherever necessary.
• Actively contribute to making/upgrading study material, test papers and assignments for the courses

Manage classes and learning environments:

• Maintain attendance records, and test score details for students
• Ensure regular student assessments
• Monitor and analyse students performance and provide useful guidance to students

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR

EDUCATION

• Preference for candidates with graduation/post graduation in Mathematics, or Engineering in any stream
• Graduates from any field having good acumen for Quantitative Aptitude, Reasoning and communication skills
• Candidates preparing for competitive exams such as UPSC, Bank PO, SSB, etc. and with a proven flair for teaching will also be considered.

EXPERIENCE

• 2-10 years of experience in coaching students preparing for placement tests of various companies such as TCS, Infosys, HCL, Deloitte, L&T etc.
• Experience in teaching Quantitative Aptitude and Reasoning.
• Candidates preparing for competitive exams such as UPSC, Bank PO, SSB, etc. and with a proven flair for teaching will also be considered.
