Position: Public Relations Specialist

Job Description:

We are seeking a talented Public Relations Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing effective communication strategies that promote our organization and its products or services. The ideal candidate should have 2-5 years of experience in public relations, a strong command of content writing, and an awareness of current affairs and news.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute public relations strategies to promote the organization and its products or services
• Write and edit press releases, speeches, and other communication materials
• Build and maintain relationships with media outlets, journalists, and other stakeholders
• Monitor and analyze media coverage of the organization and its competitors
• Plan and organize events, such as press conferences and product launches
• Assist in crisis management and issue communication
• Collaborate with marketing and social media teams to ensure consistent messaging across all channels
• Provide support to executives and other staff members as needed.

Requirements:

• PR Specialist- 2 to 5 years of experience,
• Strong Media relations with an understanding of startup and education media.
• Past working experience in ed-tech or any startup is preferred.
• Understanding of social media and Digital PR is critical.
• Written communication should be a strong suit.
